Seeds of Peace has over two decades of experience organizing and implementing dialogue and leadership development programs for youth and educators in communities in conflict across the globe.
We offer facilitation, training, and consulting services to bring our unique and proven methodologies to more schools, organizations, or any other groups looking to bridge divides or transform conflicts between and within communities. Our approach seeks to address issues such as gender, race, socio-economic status, sexuality, and ability, as sites of both interpersonal and structural conflict.
Since our founding, dialogue has been at the core of our mission. As a result, we have trained hundreds of facilitators from around the globe in a variety of methodologies to facilitate group dialogues and team building for both youth and adults. In particular, we have trained a strong network of facilitators who create spaces to address identity, power, privilege, and narrative through dialogue. Our facilitators reflect a wide a variety of skill sets and experiences and can design and lead sessions specific to your needs.
Seeds of Peace has developed a variety of facilitation and dialogue-based methodologies and tools that can be implemented through creative trainings at a variety of levels in professional settings, educational environments, and community spaces. These trainings include but are not limited to topics such as facilitation techniques, communication skills, managing interpersonal conflict, and general team- or group-building strategies. We can help identify problem areas and areas for growth, and lead trainings to help address these concerns.
Seeds of Peace works with new or ongoing initiatives to help create and shape models that bridge divides and/or transform conflicts between communities. We will help you develop strategies to address the fundamental question: how do we work with the differences that exist in our community? Services include but are not limited to: helping schools, religious institutions, organizations, and communities craft meaningful dialogue experiences that engage people within their community across lines of difference to build more inclusive environments; advising on best practices for intercultural youth programs; supporting the design and implementation of educational curricula.
