Mariam Abd El Hay

Educational Accompanier & Coordinator, Palestinian Core Leadership Program

Mariam is an Educational Accompanier and member of the local Seeds of Peace programs team in Palestine. She is helps design, coordinate, and facilitate programs that develop leadership and dialogue skills, including the Core Leadership Program “Bas’smeh” and alumni gatherings. She also supports Palestinian participants before, during, and after the Seeds of Peace Camp.

Her work centers on creating compassionate, sustainable communities where healing, growth, and dialogue thrive. She facilitates spaces that embrace complexity and encourage curiosity, helping youth develop critical thinking and explore new realities. In addition to her current role, Mariam has served three summers as a dialogue facilitator at the Seeds of Peace Camp.

Born and raised in Tira, her rich Palestinian-European heritage has shaped her dynamic approach to bridging perspectives and fostering connection. Guided by her connection to the natural world and her belief in the power of “What if?”, Mariam brings resilience, joy, and a vibrant spirit to her mission of building better futures and empowering others to reimagine what’s possible.
