Lani Martin

Lani is the co-founder and trustee of Impact 100 London (charity 1209624), a collective philanthropy of individuals awarding grants to women & girls’ charities in London. Since its inception in 2020, £900,000 have been awarded to 18 charities with a cumulative 341 individual donors. An additional 1600 hours of pro bono expertise has been delivered to those 18 charities, providing invaluable support.

Lani is also on the Ivey Advisory Board for the Richard Ivey School of Business, is an advisor to the UK Foundation and is a founding member of and serves on the committee of IWIL (Ivey Women Investing in Leadership – a collective philanthropy of female alumni investing in the next generation).

Lani joined the Global Leadership Council of Seeds of Peace in 2018, is the parent of a Seed and was involved with the UK pilot programme in 2019.

Lani has had a long-standing commitment to devoting her time and talent to charities focused on girls and young people. Lani brings a strong financial and governance background, having extensive experience in finance and accounting, including 12 years in investment banking with Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Securities, and four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. More recently, Lani has been an active private equity investor and advisor.
