Friday, October 25
You are cordially invited to join us as we Stride for Peace!
This year, Saint Joseph’s College is emphasizing the Mercy Critical Concern of Nonviolence. Given the national and international headlines, this advocacy is urgently needed. Here are the details of the event, which supports Seeds of Peace’s mission to develop courageous leaders who work in solidarity across differences to create more just and inclusive societies:
What? A 20-mile walk—or even shorter (15, 10, 5, or even 1 mile) segments of it.
Where? From SJC’s campus to the Seeds of Peace Camp in Otisfield, Maine.
When? Friday, October 25, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. (or so).
Who? Open to all members and friends of the SJC and Seeds of Peace communities.
Why? To demonstrate solidarity with those suffering from violence and to support nonviolent conflict resolution throughout the world.
