This two-week course will feature faculty from organizations focused on equity, pluralism, anti-racism, teaching and learning, and civic engagement.
It is an opportunity for U.S. educators to dialogue, support and empower one another, make connections, and gain tools to better lead their classrooms and work with young people in our current climate in the United States.
Selected participants will exhibit unusual accomplishment and/or promise and willingness to take risks; they will be thoughtful, creative, committed educators from the widest possible range of backgrounds, who care deeply about engaging with the pressing educational issues of our time.
When selecting educators, priority will be given to applicants from schools and communities where our U.S. Program is rooted—Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Syracuse, and Maine. We will, however, consider strong applications from outside of these locations.
