For decades, we have witnessed deepening conflict. Today, as tensions and violence rise, we are cultivating the courageous leaders who will work together across lines of difference to create more just and inclusive societies.
Together, these leaders bravely reach out across deep divides, seek the humanity in one another, and create paths of healing, hope, and justice for our polarized world.
How does it work?
Seeds of Peace creates opportunity for youth to meet peers from different backgrounds and life experiences, engage in honest dialogue, forge relationships of trust and commitment, and build skills to work for change, all with access to a powerful global network.
We invest in young people locally, nationally, and internationally—partnering with schools and organizations that are invested in students.
We believe young people have ideas that can make their communities thrive.
In partnership with you, we provide mentorship, inspiration, and support.
We connect youth—who might otherwise never meet—across racial, religious, class, and political lines and develop leaders who are committed to moving from ideas to action.
All Seeds of Peace programs focus on:
» Dialogue that provides space for self-expression, deep listening, and exploration of core conflict issues
» Community that builds an ecosystem of support and solidarity across lines of difference
» Leadership skills development that trains youth in facilitation, organizing, and advocacy
» Action-taking that creates real, tangible change in our communities right now
We don’t just offer programs. We’re a network and community of practice, training, and support for partners like you.
Join a group of local Seeds of Peace partners in your area committed to seeing student leaders co-create a world they want to live in!
Why Seeds of Peace
As a school or community-based organization, you invest in young people every day. We exist to support you in that work—working together to bridge the deep divides in our communities across this country.
In a world of stereotypes, labels, and assumptions—fueled by the bubbles of media—Seeds of Peace invites youth into welcoming and engaging conversations with people who are not like them.
Over the past 29 years, more than 8,000 Seeds of Peace alumni have found a place in this vibrant global community of leaders, working across our deep divides, to create a more just and peaceful reality in their communities around the world.
Founded in 1993 to advance Arab-Israeli peace, Seeds of Peace now works with youth in the United States, Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, India, Pakistan and the United Kingdom, with alumni in 63 countries.

“You are here to learn the skills to make change in the world. You cannot hope to make your community more just and inclusive, if you are not willing to be the embodiment of what you stand for.”
