Eric started with Seeds of Peace in 1999 as a counselor at the Seeds of Peace Camp in Maine and worked nine sessions over the next five years as a lifeguard, canoe instructor, basketball coach and group challenge facilitator. He has spent all or most of 18 summers at Camp.

Eric worked as the Jerusalem-based editor of Seeds of Peace publications. These included the organization’s youth magazine, The Olive Branch, its alumni magazine, Roots, and its newsletter for Seeds in the US, Passport.

He also served as the Seeds of Peace Center for Coexistence (Jerusalem) Coordinator of Media & Government Development from 2005 to 2009, and Seeds of Peace’s Director of Communications from 2009 to 2016.

In 2000, he interned with the BBC while studying the Northern Ireland peace process at the University of Ulster. Before joining Seeds of Peace, he worked for several US newspapers as well as the Boys and Girls Club of Burlington, Vermont.

Eric grew up in Ramallah on the Palestinian West Bank and graduated from high school in Jerusalem. He attended Earlham College in Indiana, where he studied politics and journalism.
