Peace Market is an event unlike any other in New York City, drawing over 1,200 influential young professionals, an impressive line-up of celebrities, notable dignitaries, and a significant media presence.

Guests enjoyed luxurious Moroccan-themed décor which transformed the already elegant Metropolitan Pavilion into a fantastical Middle Eastern and South Asian marketplace. They tasted delectable cuisine from the Middle East, South Asia and New York City’s most sought-after restaurateurs.

Four of the City’s best hummus restaurants competed for the title of Best Hummus in our 3rd Annual Hummus Taste Off. Food-world Celebrity judges Danyelle Freeman, Chef Jehangir Mehta, Josh Beckerman, Joe Campanale, and Judy Joo voted Hummus Kitchen Judges’ Choice, and our guests voted Hummus Place People’s Choice for this title.

Three of New York City’s hottest DJs spun to a crowd of dancing, mingling and reclining guests comprised of New York City’s most beautiful and beneficent young professionals. Following a highly successful live auction, Boston-based band the Bad Rabbits swept everybody off their feet with an irresistibly funky and charismatic set.

Guests commemorated the evening with henna tattoos, and glamorous and uproarious pictures at our high-end photo booth and star-strutted green carpet and step and repeat, which was graced by celebrity guests David Cross, Amber Tamblyn, and Miss Universe – India, Vasuki Sunkavalli.
