Seeds of Peace is a non-profit organisation committed to inspiring and equipping young leaders from regions of conflict with the relationships, understanding, and skills needed to advance lasting peace.
Founded in 1993, Seeds of Peace was built on the belief that governments negotiate treaties but only people can make peace. Seeds of Peace has now graduated over 5,000 young leaders and educators from 27 countries worldwide, and grown from a summer camp in the US state of Maine into a year-round multi-faceted leadership development programme.
Seeds of Peace UK is a charitable organisation dedicated to expanding Seeds of Peace’s footprint in the United Kingdom. Our aims: · promote awareness through events · develop a Seeds of Peace UK alumni network · build an active volunteer community · provide educational programmes for schools · establish partnerships with other NGOs · generate support and funding
