Seeds of Peace steers its Camp recruitment and selection process by partnering with public and private schools that represent the highest need and potential for impact, and have the type of students and faculty support that meet the goals of the program.
Seeds of Peace identified the following schools as program partners for 2012:
• Cumberland County: Casco Bay High School, Waynflete School, Catherine McAuley High School, Cheverus High School, Deering High School, Portland High School, South Portland High School, Westbrook High School
• Androscoggin County: Lewiston High School
• Kennebec County: Cony High School
• Penobscot County: Dexter High School
Interested applicants must be current freshmen or sophomores at one of the above schools and should contact their principal to receive an application.
Applications will then be reviewed by a panel; interviews will be arranged for finalists and selection announcements will be made by mid-April.
