Toll Bros. craftsmen revive Camp grounds in advance of 22nd summer

OTISFIELD, MAINE | Seventy-five Toll Brothers subcontractors, friends, and family spent their weekend preparing the Seeds of Peace International Camp for its 22nd summer.

This year marks the 16th season that the Toll Brothers professionals have donated their time and resources to help facilitate the work that takes place with young leaders from global conflict regions.

Toll Brothers, Inc. is one of America’s leading luxury homebuilders and Bob Toll, Executive Chairman of the Toll Brothers Board, is a member of the Board of Directors of Seeds of Peace.

For years, campers from conflict regions have bonded by playing Ga-ga, a sport that melds dodgeball with bowling, on an improvised court. This year, the Toll Brothers volunteers constructed a true Ga-ga court. Other major projects involved painting and electrical work around Camp, especially in the dialogue huts, and extensive landscaping to revive Camp after the long and cold winter.

“Toll Brothers Day warms my heart year after year,” said Seeds of Peace Executive Director Leslie Lewin. “Not only am I amazed by the amount of work that gets done across our Camp, but I am deeply grateful for the selflessness and hard work of all who participate.”

“Thank you to Toll Brothers and all of your partner companies who spent their Saturday working so hard in support of our program. Thanks to you, we will be ready when the buses roll up in just a few weeks!”
