Sandra S. Wijnberg

Sandra is the former Deputy Head of Mission at the Office of the Quartet (OQ) in Jerusalem. The OQ’s mandate from the Quartet (US, UN, EU, and Russia) is to support Palestinian economic development, rule of law, and improved movement and access for goods and people. The OQ has offices in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and in Gaza and works closely with the Palestinian Authority, the Government of Israel, the international community, and the private sector.

Prior to her 2014 appointment at the Office of the Quartet, Sandra was a Partner and a member of the Board of Directors of Aquiline Holdings, a private equity investment firm. Previously, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. and held senior financial management roles at PepsiCo and at YUM! Brands. She started her career in investment banking, working at both Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers.

Sandra serves on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards, including Spark MicroGrants, and is a Trustee of the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation. She received an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
