Moose started his journey with Seeds of Peace as a member of the 2006 Egyptian Delegation to the Camp. After an inspiring and eye-opening experience, he returned to Egypt to discover his artistic skills and develop a career in Cairo’s underground music scene.
During his college years, Moose organized open-mic nights, creating a network of various performers who come together to socialize and express their talents. His interest in how arts can bring people together to break boundaries and inspire peacebuilding brought him back to Camp as an arts & music counselor in 2012 and 2013, and as the Arts & Music Program Director in 2014.
Driven by his passion towards Seeds of Peace’s work, he took a part-time role as the Egyptian Programs Coordinator. His love for the community built at Camp fuels his mission to ensure that the Camp experience carries on through regional programming.
“Seeds of Peace allowed me to discover my true potential through challenging my comfort zones. I am blessed to be able pass on my experience in helping youth discover their own potential.”
