Lele first learned about Seeds of Peace many years ago when she was working at Georgetown Day School in Washington, D.C.
She had attended a Global Awareness Day program at the school and participated in a presentation by two high school Seeds. She will always remember their passion and competency in discussing such a complex subject with a room full of adolescents and a few stray adults.
She has been intrigued by Seeds of Peace work ever since. Most of her 25+ year career as a fundraiser has been working in secondary and higher education, and she is energized and challenged by making the pivot to working with a non-profit.
It is an honor to be given the chance to use her skills and experience to seek support Seeds of Peace—and its diverse and beautiful community.
