Kyle Gibson

Deputy Director, Global Programs and Strategy (Jerusalem)

Kyle started at Seeds of Peace in 2013 as a counselor at the Camp and has continued to be involved with Seeds since, most recently taking on a greater leadership role at Camp and a full time position as Deputy Director of Global Programs and Strategy.

He is passionate about working with young people and non-traditional education, and Seeds of Peace has become an engaging and meaningful community to be a part of for him. He has worked both at Camp and with Seeds of Peace regional programming while on an academic fellowship in the Middle East from 2013 to 2014. Seeds continues to amaze with the opportunities for positive growth, development, and relationship building.

Kyle recently graduated from a Master’s of Arts in International Affairs program at American University in Washington, D.C., with a focus on international politics, security, and conflict resolution. He hopes previous experiences in the NGO sector as well as a background in academic research will help to support deepening the scope and strength of Seeds programs both in the United States and around the world.

He is proud and grateful to be working in such a diverse and engaging community that allows for communication and relationship building between individuals from societies and groups that far too often are inhibited from interacting with one another.

“Seeds of Peace creates an environment and a community that allows for freedom of thought and expression and endless opportunities for growth. Seeds allows for participants to learn and engage with the most challenging questions and issues of our time on a basis of equality, respect, and openness to listen to others. I am honored and privileged to be a part of the Seeds community and am driven by a passion to continue to support our current and former counselors, staff, educators, and Seeds in this work.”
