Bob MacLeod

Bob was born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada. Along with his partner Steve Byckiewicz, Bob founded what would become one of the largest natural body care companies in the US, Kiss My Face, based on a 200 acre farm in New York’s beautiful Hudson River Valley. Kiss My Face has maintained a partnership with Seeds of Peace since 2009.

The company was born out of the idea that the cosmetic industry needed to be revolutionized. Bob and his partner, Steve Byckiewicz drove their product around in their Volkswagon, and retailers greeted them with overwhelming support. By the time the pair sold the company in 2010, its products were available in 26 countries.

Bob and Steve have spent considerable time traveling throughout the Middle East, which was the genesis of their interest in Seeds of Peace. They were, in fact, Seeds of Peace’s 2017 Spring Dinner honorees.

Bob and Steve recently founded the brand Nova Scotia Fisherman, which works closely with The Nature Conservancy. Bob serves on the board of American Friends of the Nature Conservancy of Canada. He lives a good part of the year on a working organic farm in the Hudson Valley. The rest of the year he struggles with a tennis racket in Miami Beach.
