Ahmad Shami is a TEDx fellow, strategic communications and negotiations specialist with experience in government relations, policy and private sector in the Middle East. He serves as an adjunct faculty at academic institutions in Palestine and as a consultant at the Center of World Religion, Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution in Washington, DC. He is also a researcher in political planning and citizenship at the European Parliament in Brussels, as well as a communication specialist at the Palestinian Negotiation Support Project.
Shami holds a B.A in Business administration and an MA in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University. His research focused on post conflict policies and international economic interventions in South Caucuses, Middle East and North Africa. Shami was a member of the Palestinian delegation to the Seeds of Peace Camp in 2004 and facilitator of the Peer Support Program in 2010 and 2011.
