GATHER:JLM connects a diverse group of young professionals working to advance political, social, and economic change in their communities across the city.
GATHER:JLM taps into the energy of Jerusalemites who care deeply about the city, and at the same time recognizes the challenges tearing the city apart.
GATHER:JLM believes that when people come together across cultures and professions, magic happens.
GATHER:JLM invests in the personal and professional growth of its participants by creating ways to learn from one another and providing access to new tools and frameworks for real impact.
How does GATHER:JLM work?
April 2019: Applications open.
May 15, 2019: Applications close
June 2019: GATHER:JLM participants are chosen
August 20-22, 2019: Jerusalem Learning Lab: Exploring the city’s key issues and advancing creative solutions.
September-December 2019: Group Meet-Ups & Project Support
Following the Summit, all participants meet-up twice a month to:
• Visit each other’s communities and workplaces
• Workshop personal and professional challenges
• Develop new professional tools to amplify your impact
• Apply for modest project funding
