Operations staff works daily to keep Camp running smoothly. We are looking for candidates with the desire to contribute to the camp community by taking care of our facilities, cleaning, organizing, set up for special activities, or providing general maintenance skills. We look for staff, who are hard-working, positive, dedicated to their job, and ready to give their all to create a clean, safe and well-maintained environment for efficient operation.

YOU WILL
Housekeeping
- Organize and maintain supply storage areas
- Clean and maintain public spaces
- Distribute and collect linens, with occasional bed making
- Clean shared bathrooms, including showers, sinks and toilets
- Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, wash windows, replace light bulbs, etc.
- Support programmatic staff and maintenance staff in ensuring all cabins are prepared for camper arrival (fix window screens, place working smoke alarms, lights, fire extinguishers, first aid kids etc.) in all cabins
Maintenance
- Conducts general repairs and maintenance including heating, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Upkeeps camp facilities, including light carpentry, painting, screen, door, and mechanical repairs
- Prepares cabins for residential occupancy
- Maintains and organizes maintenance supplies
- Communicates supplies needs with Grounds/Maintenance Director
- Assists with opening and closing of camp facilities pre and post summer season.
RELEVANT SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Experience working around youth programming
- Experience or Knowledge in either maintaining clean and safe facilities or minor to moderate maintenance repairs
- Excellent time management skills
- Communication skills
- Patience, flexibility, creativity
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- Desire to work in an energetic team focused environment
- Ability to work with diverse campers and staff of different racial, economic, political, and gender identities
