Bruce Saber

Bruce is a partner at the law firm DLA Piper, where his practice focuses on real estate and private equity transactions. Previously, Bruce was a partner at the international law firms of Fried Frank and Heller Ehrman, General Counsel at Tishman Speyer Properties, and General Counsel to the real estate funds at Goldman Sachs.

Bruce became involved with Seeds of Peace about 15 years ago, when Seeds from Israel and Egypt visited the Jewish Center of the Hamptons, in East Hampton, New York. Since then, Bruce and his wife Lisa have hosted Seeds for weekends of programming and development in the Hamptons. Their daughters Rebecca and Arielle are Seeds, and have taken part in Seas of Peace, and other Seeds of Peace programs in Ireland and Israel.

Bruce has actively provided pro bono legal work throughout his career, including to Legal Services NYC (where he also served on the Board and the Executive Committee) and Legal Aid. Currently, the focus of Bruce’s pro bono work is Central Queens Academy, a charter school serving 500 students the vast majority of whom are English language learners and the children of immigrants who would be the first in their families to attend college.
