Delegation Leader Program
A Coexistence Experience for
Adult Educators and Community Leaders

Seeds of Peace recognizes that our youth mission requires a firm network of adults in the conflict regions who understand, nurture and support our coexistence mission.
In recognition of that need the Delegation Leaders Program for Adult Educators and Community Leaders was established in 1995 as the basis for this international support system.
Since its inception, over 300 adult leaders have accompanied youth delegations to camp and participated in their own adult coexistence program. Selected by their respective communities or governments, the participants are chosen because of their acknowledged leadership skills. They come from all the countries that send youngsters to camp, and they hold a range of political views. Participation in the program offers these leaders a unique challenge and opportunity to interact with their peers from across borders of dispute. On their return home, they like the campers, are offered follow-up educational experiences to maintain their commitment to the dialogue process and to keep in touch with their professional colleagues from across borders.

The graduates of the Delegation Leader Program serve as our regional partners in 25 countries. Under the auspices of participating governments, they help screen, select, and prepare the youth who come to camp.
