Database Manager

Marni Pearce has worked in the nonprofit sector in various capacities throughout her career.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota and a Masters of Nonprofit Management from The New School in New York City.  Marni started her career as a grassroots organizer and fundraiser  for a state-wide environmental organization.  Later she joined the staff of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America where she worked for eleven years.  During that time, Marni moved from fundraising to IT with a focus on database management.  As the Director of IT, she successfully combined more than thirty databases from chapter offices around the country to one consolidated database.  Marni has worked at Seeds of Peace for over a year as the Database Manager and she also helps manage the web site.

Marni lives in New Jersey with her husband Kevin and their daughter Hanna.  They own an 18’ sailboat which they enjoy during the summer months.
