In what ways has your experience at Seeds of Peace impacted you as a person?
I always ponder and ask myself the question of how would my life been different if I had not attended the Seeds of Peace camp. Then I come to realize that Seeds of Peace has potentially shaped my life in several ways. It has provided me the environment in which I managed to explore my true self. Whether it is the ability to think critically, or the capacity to think outside of the dark and closed box in which I used to dwell prior to being a part of the Seeds of Peace. Either way, Seeds of Peace had a key role in helping me to reach to this point.

How does your work or education relate to building a more peaceful world?  As a double Major in International Relations and Economics, and more focused on the issue of security, I am hoping to gain a good knowledge of the current conditions in my country. Presently I am studying for a semester at SOAS, University of London which is a leading school in the matters of international affairs and in the development of countries. I am also currently working on a research project for which I will be going to Turkey to study how the Turkish model of democracy responded to the Kurdish insurgency. The goal of the project is to derive a model for the Afghan insurgency and determine policy implication for the security of Afghanistan.
