In what ways has your experience at Seeds of Peace impacted you as a person?
Although Jews mark the age of Bar-Mitzvah as the time for growing up, I can say my real adulthood began when I was 15, at Seeds of Peace camp in Maine in 1999.

The understanding that there are so many other people I haven't met yet, some of them living only 30 minutes away from my house, and that they have such different life stories really influenced me. In my perspective, these experiences make you more creative, more "out of the box"I can only imagine that this is one of the main reasons why I chose to become a journalist.

How does your work or education relate to building a more peaceful world?
Working for a news organization in Israel unfortunately doesn't always mean reflecting a peaceful reality. However, by balancing every story with the opposing opinion and philosophy, you are able to let the public know that no side holds the absolute truth and every viewer can choose for himself.

Also, I truly believe the way you deliver the news is just as important as the news itself. A more comfortable, peaceful presentation and tone of voice, even while showing a very harsh reality, sends a more peaceful and relaxing message to the viewers, and this is something I try to do as a news anchor.
