In what ways has your experience at Seeds of Peace impacted you as a person?
Seeds of Peace impacted me in various ways. It was responsible for my capacity building; more importantly it exposed me to realities that were unknown to me.
Prior to SOP, I was an average neighborhood kid with potential that was still to be unearthed. I had limited vision, lacked confidence and used to be very myopic. I have no shame in admitting that it was after SOP that I really grew in confidence as an individual. And, it was also after SOP that I started approaching things from a much wider perspective. Myopia was exchanged with some kind of critical appreciation of "diversity." The overall experience at camp is so over-whelming that it transforms one for life! My story is just another case in point.

How does your work or education relate to building a more peaceful world?
I am a student of management and public administration. The greatest challenge in management is to utilize the services of human capital to its maximum potential. In order to gain maximum output, one needs to promote unity and cohesion amongst this human resource. Therefore, the study of management is a consistent journey towards instilling "peace" through various strategies to get the things done. I could proclaim at this point that my education fosters peace at the basic human level. Once things are peaceful at micro-level, they could well have their positive spill overs at the macro-level too.
