Before becoming the organization's Communications Director, Eric worked as the Jerusalem-based editor of Seeds of Peace publications. These include the organization's youth magazine, The Olive Branch, its alumni magazine, Roots, and its newsletter for Seeds working and living in the US, Passport. He also served as the Seeds of Peace Center for Coexistence Coordinator of Media & Government Development from 2005 to 2006. He started with Seeds of Peace in 1999 as a counselor at the Camp in Maine, and has since worked nine sessions as a lifeguard, canoe instructor, basketball coach and group challenge facilitator.

Eric grew up in the Middle East and attended Earlham College in Indiana, where he studied politics and journalism. In 2000, he interned with the BBC while studying the Northern Ireland peace process at the University of Ulster. Before joining Seeds of Peace, he worked for several US newspapers.
