Seeds of Peace offers employment in a variety of capacities throughout the year. While our headquarters are located in New York City, we also maintain a year-round office in Washington DC. Seeds of Peace, a nonprofit, nonpolitical organization dedicated to empowering young people from regions of conflict with the leadership skills required to advance reconciliation and coexistence, seeks a Director of Corporate Relations, reporting to the Executive Vice President of Development.
The Director of Corporate Relations position is an exciting opportunity for an associate level professional or higher to advance to the next level of his or her career by overseeing the development and growth of our corporate sponsorship and membership program. The successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter experienced at interacting with the corporate community. You will be responsible for identifying and building new relationships with corporations; developing comprehensive recognition and benefits packages for corporate donors; raising revenue through corporate sponsorship sales for events; implementing a corporate membership program; and designing and executing individually tailored stewardship and recognition strategies and reports for our corporate partners.
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years experience in a development environment, with a focus on corporate relations/sponsorship.
- Experience in direct contact with donors, board of directors and business community leaders.
- Experience in event fundraising preferred.
- Knowledge of the New York and tri-state area corporate and philanthropic community preferred.

Join the staff at Seeds of Peace International Camp! Seeds of Peace International Camp hires summer staff in two main capacities: counselors and facilitators.
Counselors at Seeds of Peace live in the bunks with the campers, instruct an activity, and supervise the daily operations of camp life. We are looking for staff aged 20 and above who are energetic, enthusiastic, enjoy the camp experiences and possess a particular activity skill. Being a counselor at Seeds of Peace requires a love for children, the ability to work as a team player and the desire to foster a neutral, peaceful environment. Facilitators at Seeds of Peace are responsible for the camp's Coexistence Program. Their job consists of conducting daily conflict resolution session, participating in daily meetings to plan these sessions and monitoring the progress of the coexistence groups. In addition, meetings are planned for mutual support and continuing development and coordination of the sessions. We are looking for a qualified team of flexible, dynamic, thoughtful, honest and committed individuals, who have significant experience working with groups in conflict and who enjoy working with teenagers and have a sense of humor.
