Israeli, Palestinian Seeds begin regular dialogue sessions in Jerusalem, Haifa

Dialogue

JERUSALEM | Three Israeli-Palestinian groups began a series of intense dialogue sessions this week. Two of the groups are gathering in Jerusalem, while the other will meet in Haifa. Each group consists of about 16 younger Israeli and Palestinian Seeds

The dialogue sessions are being facilitated by pairs of older Israeli and Palestinian Seeds, all of whom have participated in the Seeds of Peace facilitation course. The sessions build off the work that was accomplished at Camp.

Over 1,000 attend sold out Peace Market

NEW YORK | Over 1,000 people helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for Seeds of Peace’s work at the annual event.

This year featured live performances by John Forté and Salman Ahmad, as well as speeches by three Seeds, a live auction that raised $25K, and a hummus taste off between four New York restaurants.

Many in attendance wrote and hung wishes on the Wishing Tree by artist Chrysanne Stathacos. These included “I wish we can send more kids to Camp” and “I wish that everyone could experience the dialogue sessions … that changed my life.”

Thanks to the hard work of the Peace Market Host Committee, these wishes are now much closer to being fulfilled.
